Savanna Haenel 

Savanna comes from a multi-generational show business family who were all successful artists and performers in their time (dancers, circus artists, acrobats, ice-skaters, directors, producers, choreographers and creators). In 2017 at 18 years old, Savanna began her professional career following in her families footsteps. She works as a professional dancer at Le Lido de Paris located on the Champs Élysées in Paris, France and is still currently employed with the company. 

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lido closed it’s doors and Savanna returned home to Australia to be with her family. During lockdown she understood the hardships all performers were going through not being able to continue with their desired careers. Savanna came up with an idea to turn a negative situation into a positive one and created… SHE, as a way to give back to her artistic community.

She wishes you to explore and discover the truths about the effects the pandemic has had on those in the Arts and Entertainment Industries. She has undertaken an interview series that shines a light on 20 Australian professionals who share their stories and open up about their personal experiences. This ‘Artists Unite’ series also focuses on finding solutions so performers can get back on stage and continue to follow their dreams.
